Hello, everyone! This week we had a lecture with Jukka Niinimäki. Course is called Educational technologies.
We had learned following apps:
- Prezi;
- Google web site;
- QR code;
- Webex meeting;
- Hangout.

Google Sites is the easiest way to make information accessible to people who need quick, up-to-date access. People can work together on a Site to add file attachments, information from other Google applications (like Google Docs, Google Calendar, YouTube and Picasa), and new free-form content. Every teacher can create own online course or e-portfolio, without reqieuring skills web coding (Html, Java, CSS). And you can make your Google Sites available to just a few people, your entire organization, or the world. Here you can see video about "How to create google web site ? "
The next app is QR code. QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response Code) is a app to scan image code and to go URL. I put here my presentation about e-learning. Try out it !
The next apps are Webex meeting and Hangout. We can use as a teacher both apps to organize online conference. When you use Webex meeting the maximum number of participants about 50. It is really good opportunity for teachers and students, for instance teacher can show own screen. Also, teacher can show presentation or explanation by using whiteboard. Hangout is also online conference tool. I think, difference between Hangout and Webex is cost. However, Webex is more professional tool and it costs some money. Hangout is free app. To use Hangout we have to just upload in apps store or gmail+. Then create your own Hangout online lesson. I recommend you to use all apps that I mentioned above. Please, try it out ! Thank you !
